The Festival of Pacific Arts & Culture (FestPAC) is the world’s largest celebration of indigenous Pacific Island cultures, dedicated to preserving and revitalizing traditional practices. The recent 13th edition took place in Hawaiʻi from 6–16 June 2024, with the theme “Ho‘oulu Lāhui: Regenerating Oceania.” This important festival occurs every four years, bringing together diverse cultures from across the Pacific to share their heritage and creativity.

The Museum director Sulu Daunivalu was part of the Fiji Delegation and was accepted to curate the visual art space at the 13th Festpac along with renowned curators and art practitioners from around the Pacific.

FestPAC plays a crucial role in fostering understanding and appreciation of indigenous cultures, ensuring the spirit of Oceania continues to thrive for generations to come.
